Community giving has changed, is changing, and will continue to change — for the better. Now is the time for donation services to be convenient, accessible, and neighbor-focused. But in order to do this — it needs a new approach.
We were always told that donating had to be inconvenient.
Everyone tried fixing the problem by requiring drop-offs at distant centers, creating barriers and inefficiencies. We have seen firsthand how these limitations prevent people from giving back to their communities. The current solutions aren't good enough. We believe that donation services must be reimagined as a community-driven network. So we started from ground zero.
We started building Porch Pickup to make giving back as easy as possible. Every feature has been designed from the ground up — with community needs in mind. We are purpose-built to connect neighbors and support local communities for years to come.
We are a bit of a unique organization — not your standard nonprofit or donation service.
